Kinships

Creating space for encountering God and each other in small groups

"The only two things that you cannot do by completely by yourself are to be married and be a Christian."

Followers of Jesus are those who through the gift of salvation have entered into relationship with God. What an amazing gift!

By that same miracle we become part of his family and that means so much more than attending a meeting with other people. One of the reflections of this in our church is our Kinship groups. These are smaller groups which meet during the week and which are vital to our understanding of how to grow as a Christian.

It is a key element in our understanding of what it means to be a church. It is here that we learn more about being a family and have the opportunity to grow together in love for each other and God. We also get to practice such important things as forgiveness and patience also in the process!

Can we strongly encourage you to consider making this a priority in your life? It is a vital part of being a follower of Jesus and having His image formed in us.
